What we record when you call the hotline or use this website, and what we do with it. The Gold Coast Tradie Hotline is run by Find It Fast, and the Find It Fast privacy policy applies in full.
When you call 0495 051 818
- We record the time, your phone number, the trade and suburb you ask for, which businesses we rang, whether one took the call, and how long it lasted. Calls are not recorded.
- Our phone provider turns what you say into text so we can find a match. If the wording is unclear, the text of your request (not your number) may be read by an AI service located overseas.
- A business that takes your call is put through to you. A business that misses it gets your number by text so it can call you back.
- If you called from a mobile, we text you the business’s details. Reply STOP to any hotline text and we won’t text you again.
When you use this website
- The site remembers, in your own browser, whether you’ve seen or closed the welcome message, so it doesn’t keep showing it.
- If analytics are switched on, we count page views and taps on the call and search buttons, including what you type in the search box. We don’t collect your name or phone number on this site.
Access, correction and complaints
Email privacy@finditfast.com.au to see or correct what we hold about you, or to make a complaint. If you’re not satisfied with our answer, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC).
